Edo-based music powerhouse, Deep End Record and Entertainment Company, has officially unveiled its newest signee, Ozi Da Genius, marking a major milestone in the label’s mission to nurture raw African talent for the global stage.

The unveiling ceremony, held at the company’s head office in Benin City, was presided over by the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Osaretin Festus Isibor, a renowned entrepreneur and entertainment investor celebrated as one of the South-South’s most influential figures.

Ozi Da Genius, born Ifeloju Ozaveshe Martins on March 10, 1994, hails from Akoko Edo Local Government Area of Edo State.

A producer, songwriter, and performing artiste, his sound blends Afrobeat, Afropop, and rap, with a unique ability to merge traditional Edo influences with modern African rhythms.

His latest single, “Update,” which opens with the voice of a legendary Edo music icon, is already gaining traction on streaming platforms and social media for its lyrical depth, rhythmic precision, and fusion of classic and contemporary African sounds.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Isibor reaffirmed the label’s commitment to discovering and promoting young Nigerian creatives to international prominence.
